How a movie actually gets funded in Europe. Eurimages (Council of Europe) has backed 2,675 co-productions with about 764M euros since 1989. Creative Europe puts 2.44bn into culture 2021-2027, at least 58% for film and TV (MEDIA). Spain rebates up to 30% of local spend over 1M (cap 10M), Canary Islands 50% (cap 18M), France TRIP 30-40% (cap 30M).
